  • Product Overview: Nasuni – The gateway to cloud storage – "We run a NAS-like software appliance on a server in your office, and link it through the Internet to the third-party cloud—or clouds—of your choice. Your files are then all kept safely off site and out of trouble, while secondary copies of your working set are cached back for fast-access local use. Our software tracks changes to the local copies and sends them to the cloud, so your complete set is always up to date."
  • VMware Communities: vmwarevSphereSecurityHardeningReportCheck.pl – "The script allows you to run the current existing guides as of (01/29/2010) against vCenter 4.0 hosting ESX(i) 4.0 hosts/virtual machines OR run it against an individual ESX(i) 4.0 host. The script allows you to run a subset of the checks and against different type of validation (ENTERPRISE,DMZ or SSLF). Upon completion, a report is generated including a grade for your environment."
  • Encrypted ZFS Backups to the Cloud: Wiki: Home — Project Kenai – "The goal of this project is to simplify the process of taking this ZFS data stream, compressing and encrypting it, and then storing the result in a Cloud Storage service such as the Sun Cloud Storage Service and Amazon S3. This project does support splitting up of a single ZFS stream into multiple files (if needed to work around a given Cloud providers maximum file limits)." (Website apparently slated to move to java.net.)
  • ZFS snapshots to and from S3 – OpenSolaris on Amazon EC2: Information and News – Simple process for sending ZFS snapshots to S3.
