Changing a Solaris Machine’s IP Address

Edit the following files as appropriate:

  • /etc/hosts
  • /etc/nodename
  • /etc/hostname.<interface>
  • /etc/defaultrouter

Reboot to apply the changes, or run:

# svcadm restart network/physical
